INITIAL ATMOSPHERE STUDY

The Recovery Cocoon concept with an illuminated central beacon

What if a retail space
helped you slow down?

Performance pushes you forward. Recovery transforms you.

The Shift explores the space between these two states. Dark finishes give way to cream, warmer light and softer textures, shaping a gradual journey towards recovery.

Three open sides invite discovery. At the centre, a sculptural beacon brings the proposed experience into view.

REST · APPROACH · REVEAL

A quiet invitation.

A translucent veil softens the façade. A restrained glow hints at the space within.

01 / SPATIAL DEVELOPMENT

The threshold.

A translucent curtain builds curiosity and softens the transition into the space.

THE RECOVERY BEACON

Make the transition visible.

The proposed beacon uses light and movement to express a visitor’s experience through the architecture. A personal passport imagines how that encounter could continue after the visit.

Interactive systems and app connections are proposed features. Scores shown in the imagery are illustrative.
