01 / BAMBOO
A framework drawn from the city.

Hong Kong’s bamboo scaffolding inspires an exposed rhythm of poles and joints. Here, that language shapes the pavilion and its product displays.
AESOP / EXPLORATION 02
Independent concept · Imagined for IFC, Hong Kong

Imagined for IFC, this exploration brings familiar elements of Hong Kong into a new retail setting. Bamboo scaffolding, red market lamps, ceramic tiles and shopfront references become the vocabulary of an open pavilion.
The R Studio explored how these local references could shape the structure, materials and product displays while retaining a considered, restrained atmosphere.
